Probably because it's on Fox (or some other nationally broadcaster OAR network) in another local market, screwing others over.

you probably figured it out by now but you live in the bay area and have cable/satellite.

I'm sure you know that giants games are broadcast on channel 2 which is fox or on fsn. dunnno what that is cable but its 654 on directv.

at least this is better than when espn had tennis. they blacked out the west coast people the live broadcast. and expect us to watch the replay 3 days later on nbc.

They blocked out TBS also. But then I just remembered I'm in Giants country so FSBay has it =)

The FCC is not blocking anything out. That do not have such authority, not the capability.
