FC-PGA vs. Socket 370

What's the difference between fc-pga and socket 370? are they the same thing? I have a ABit Bf6 mobo and am wanting to buy a 1 gigahertz Intel chip. I'm not sure which one to order. Newegg.com has them listed as:

INTEL PENTIUM III 1GHz 133MHz FSB FCPGA PROCESSOR

Intel Pentium III 1GHz 256K 133MHz FSB Socket 370 PGA Processor

One is listed as retail, the other as OEM, but other than that, is there any difference between these two processors? Thanks for your help.

FC-PGA is a form of Socket 370.

Socket 370 covers a number of Intel processor types: PPGA, FC-PGA, FC-PGA2, FC-PGA2 (Tualatin). These names describe the pin-out.

Hmmm....does that mean either one would run on my board? Or that only the first one would work?

Both should run fine - The differance between OEM and Retail is that OEM, you only get the CPU, and maybe a week's warranty from the retailer. By going retail, you get a 3 Years warranty from Intel, a Heatsink/Fan from Intel, and the box and COA.
