With the current news going arround now about the software piracy issue, I was just wondering what you guys were thinking about this? I think the government should mind their business and let people do what they want. Not like if they can completely stop it, I mean come on, what are they going to do, shut down the internet because of business loosing a bit of money? They estimated 12 billion$ loss because of piracy. I think they're full of it. The only reason the government is even paying attention to piracy is because of the worthless trash of a group metallica. They shut down newnet on irc 2 years ago, but that was blown over after a few months. The same thing is going to happen this time, except, a lot more release groups will shut down, which new ones will show up in no time.
My moto for the U.S government is "If you ain't know it, don't touch it". They did the exact same thing to microsoft, sure might monopolize the business, but there's a reason they do, marketting and a tough product line. Anyway check out the link and tell us what you think.

Just my 2 cents and blowing off some steam/stress.
