it happened to my friend who was driving down a 3 lane street...she was in the right lane and the guy in the center cut into her lane, forcing her to swerve; and in the process hitting another car....yea...the guy apologized (saw what he has caused), but her insurance said it's still her fault.

If I would have let her hit me, I would have ended up going into the guardrail head-on @ 70mph. I forgot to mention that she was in the second to the far left lane, and I was in the right lane, of a 4 lane highway.

With the speed she turned into my lane, I am sort of glad I didn;t brake(e-brake) and such too much. Not only would I have flipped or something, but she still would have hit me.

I guess I am alright...

I ran liek a million errands of mine today, and mowed the lawn after this to get my mind of of it. I also think the guy in the Business office of my college stole some of my money. He's a nice guy, so obviously I am off my rocker.

the fact is that she was travelling laterally more so than safe. She basically "slid" into my lane VERY quickly. Even an SUV would have been pushed into the guardrail.

Do you know what the endpoint, or beginning point of the guardrail looks like? Well, there is a good chance that I would have hit that instead of just the regular guardrail. We were approaching a highway-side reststop.


all in all, quite a sh!!ty incident.

SHe obviously didn;t notice me until the screetching of tires, but it could have been VERY bad if i had slammed on the brakes.

She would have slid the back half of her car laterally at my engine compartment. I would have wiped out....
