Hey everyone. I work for a towing company and we receive information on some of our calls over fax. My boss is looking to save costs and I figure a pretty good way to do that would be to eliminate the ink and paper costs associated with this dinosaur or a fax machine we have.
On the average day, we get maybe 10-20 faxes. This number will increase when winter hits. I've been wondering as of late if there is a program I could install that would listen to the fax line and instead of printing each fax as they come in, maybe save them as a PDF or something like that. It'd also need to be able to keep these faxes in some kind of inbox or something, so I could reference them for additional information and billing at a later date.
10-20 faxes may not seem like much but over the course of a month, the ink costs really add up. I think if something like this exists, it could save us quite a bit of money. Thanks for taking the time to read this!
