I have my fax machine forever and it never runs out of ink, And We recieve quite a bit of fax over the years. So is there such fax machines that don't need ink or ribbon? Our quality is not the best, but it is certainly clear enough to see. Please let me know of the brand/item of fax machines that is capaable of this
Thanks

Any fax machine that uses thermal transfer should last until the mechanism burns out. It uses heat to print on the paper; no ink necessary. Most faxes now are ink or laser, AFAIK, though you should be able to find a new thermal fax without too much hassle.

I was just looking around and saw a brother fax machine that said to be thermal and require a ribbon of some sort. Do you know some makes of fax machines that is ribbon/ink Free?

Some older fax machines used special thermal paper instead of ink. You don't have to buy ink or ribbons, but the paper (usually comes on a roll) is expensive and the copies tend to fade and curl in a short time.
A laser fax will cost more in the beginning, but is far cheaper to operate over the long run.
