What's your favourite Warcraft 3 race?

I like Orcs the best. I find they have their bases well covered, and have neat heros. I like the Far Seer, Chain Lightning and Far Seeing are both really useful. The blademaster and tauren can be pretty fun to.

Undead is probably my second, which is odd from how much I hated Zerg in Starcraft.

Humans are okay, but they just feel a little bland for some reason.

And I hate Night Elves. I don't deny that in the hands of a skilled player they can be quite good, but I just can't work them. I like a nice mix of melee and ranged. And they have to many Ranged, and not enough Melee. Huntresses their so called melee unit just don't seem to be worth 3 food to me. They have no hereos that really appeal to me. And Chimeras? They can't attack Air to Air? WTF is that???
Okay okay...the Demon Hunter Hero is pretty cool. I admit. So they have one good hero. but I don't like the other two. And that's about all I like from Night Elves.

OTOH, The undead box kicks arse. I like the Orcs the best, but their box isn't the best.
Why didn't the Night Elves box get the Demon Hunter? That would be sweet then. I've 2 posters that came in Diablo2 boxes, and one has him on it, and he's pretty kick ass lookin'.

But yeah the Undead box is the best!

But this is about which Race you prefer, not which box. hehehe

My vote for Orcs.

It's certainly worth playing. It has it's ups and downs and you may not like it. But you should try it.

my bro is quiet deadly with night elves. the thing about the sides is to allie with someone who side complaments another. like night elves and orc make a mean team

Human, I hate all night elf and mostnight elf players until they balance Night Elf becuase thye are way overpowered.

I like orcs...cause they're newbie race...
undead seems to be the best race in the hands of a skilled player
all my friends that I played war2 with started playin w/ orcs, and they've since switched over to undead, one is a 12 and the other is an 11
they're like 130-20
They both say that undead is the best once you get used to them...orcs is easiest for newbies tho..and I'm definitely newbie

Surprised we don't have as many Night Elf bashers here as they do over at the Battle.Net forums.

I voted for Orcs as they are the most fun, and I think balanced. Well except for their towers have longer range than any other tower. Which leads to tower rushing. But that tactic is easily defended against.

Night Elfs have those blasted huntresses. All the benefits of a melee unit: normal damage which means no penalties regardless of armor, fast, good hit points and good armor. Yet they also have the one benefit of ranged units, they can focus fire. Couple that with the bounce they get from the glaive and you have one sick tier 1.5 unit. Which no other race has a counter for at that level. Of course, the NE suck late game, but a competent NE player won't let you get that far.

Undead I don't like that much. Kind of slow and expensive. Don't know enough to really comment.

Humans are great late game, but boy do they suck early game. They basically can get owned early in the game, but have some of the strongest late game units. Just hope you last long enough to get them.

I only play as undead. It's surprising what a high level Death Knight and a bunch of Abominations and Meat Wagons can do. And when they die, you just Animate Dead and have a free second wave for your attack :)

Orcs. They have great heroes, and great units. Grunts are awesome in the beginning, and still good towards the end (particularly with bloodlust). I generally mostly have Grunts and Wolfriders in my attack (wolfriders to net air units). Works pretty well.

Humans are hard to be, IMO. They suck so bad early game. But a fully upgraded Paladin with a bunch of knights later on in the game rocks, so that makes up for it if you can make it that far.

I have only played night elves and humans so far (had the game for less than a week), and I like the NE the best. Huntresses are pretty good once you get their upgrades, and I love archer units. They don't dominate like they did in WC II, but they are still a great unit. Mount them on wyverns :)):)) and you have a formidable unit. For heros, I usually use the ones with healing autocasts since I don't like too much micromanagement, and I mainly use them for support units and not offensive powerhouses.

Everyone but the undead. ghouls and crypt fiends suck so much ass I always get killed at the start.

But how can you diss the priestess of the moon? Starfall is your god.

You people are pretty downright disgusting. So much for relinquishing racism in recent times, eh? Which race is better than the other one? Bastards. I hate you all.

Anyway the most fun race to play with is Human but as for the best race I'm not sure anymore :Q

Starfall is good. But I don't like her all that much all the same.
