An impossible question

If I had to pick a single song, it would be "Wish You Were Here"...and evidently I'm not the only one who likes it, judging by the 40,000 people who were singing it simultaneously at the New Orleans Superdome in '94.

Best instrumental song, "Atom Heart Mother Suite".

Best and most highly underrated album, "The Final Cut".

I like just about all of DSOTM. It's soooo nice to just turn it up and lie on the floor and stare into nothing...the live version of Brain Damage/Eclipse is one of my favorite mp3s. If I could only get that new live album on minidisc

Other then that, its a tie between comfortably numb and wish you were here...both are great. Mother is a close second.

Careful With That Axe, Eugene has to be the coolest song title ever. Kind of a strange song though

Stair way to Heaven to heaven is not a Pink FLoyd song it's a Led Zepplin song (atleast s far as i know)

My personal favorits are Hey You, Time, and Comfortably Numb.

I'll never forget this...

It was about 3AM one morning, and I was 14 years old. I always slept with the radio intercom system on, tuned in to the local rock station (98Rock, way back when!).

Anyway, I woke up and heard strange noises... helicopters, I think...

I started freaking out, certain that World War 3 was upon us...

And then the disc jockey said, &quot;That was Echoes by Pink Floyd...&quot;

I will never forget that... it was the first time I heard the song and I nearly wet my pants!
