Favourite Console Controller?

Favorite as in ergonomics, the BIG xbox controller. Everything was right where I wanted it to be, except it was super heavy.

Basically any that has a normal design. SNES, Genesis, Dreamcast, X-Box, and other similar ones are all good. The N64 controller is the worst one ever invented, and the Playstation (2) controllers suck as well.

also cant beat the SEGA megadrive (genesis) 6 button pad 🙂

I haven't tried an 360 controller, but Xbox S ftw. The PS2 controller cramps my hand and the gamecube controller is fine except it hurts my hand when I play Super Smash Melee.

Gamecube and Xbox S in a dead heat. Xbox has better analog sticks and analog triggers. But I like the button layout on the Gamecube a little better. I like that the buttons have distinctive shapes and are arraged to acknowledge that you use some buttons more frequently than others.

N64 kind of sucked... but I guess they did what they had to do at a time when people weren't ready to give up their D-pads... they had to give the D-pad and analog stick equal prominance.

DualShock is one of the worst design I've ever seen.

And as much as I like the SNES controller and the nostalgia factor, it just wasn't that comfortable for long periods of time.

I'd say either the Wavebird (cube) or 360.

I'm amazed that the Gamecube controller is getting so much love. Where are all the Playstation fanboys?
