How much for say your average 750ml bottle of cheapish Vodka?
IDK i dont drink that crap
Rum on the other hand is in the 20s for that vol
750s of Appleton 21 and Flor de Cana under 30 IIRC.
7 fathoms which is made on the island is in the 20s and is quite good
theres really no justifying nyc taxes, not even going to go therebeleive it or not its cheaper there then in NY

My favorite locations so far in this order:
1) Amalfi coast, Italy. Positano is my favorite spot of all, but then I'm biased since I became engaged to my wife there.
2) Cape Town, South Africa. Where else can you swim with the penguins, have the world's best wine and food, and be just a short hop to animal safaris?
3) Barcelona, Spain. Beautiful city with great side streets.
4) Jostedalsbreen glacier in Norway. Or even the whole fjord coast.
5) Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. The falls are spectacular, but the activities nearby are better.
6) Rome, Italy. History, enough said.
7) Avignon area, France. The whole southern coast is great. Marseille might just be the best city in France.
Countries I likely won't recommend going to:
1) Japan
2) Germany
3) Sweden
4) Portugal
The place I want to see most: Okavango delta, Botswana
theres really no justifying nyc taxes, not even going to go there
i meant more in the context of caymans vs the rest of the carribbean. i will say they have one of the cleanest/nicest islands though.
I love camping in the National Parks. They're all unique and beautiful.
for beaches: maldives >>>>> hawaii (3x) >> tie btw all carribbean (st croix (many x), st martin (2x), puerto rico, aruba (2x), playa del carmen, bvis, belize, bahamas (2x))
for nonbeaches: tokyo > amsterdam > dubai
(agree the hike up to that waterfall on the east side of maui is amazing)
How long before the parks namesake are gone?
About another 10 years, though it is worth noting that this would likely have been the case with or without anthropogenic climate change. Glaciers had disappeared from the park since the end of the last ice age, until the start of the mini ice age beginning in the mid-16th century. They came back during that period, but then have receded since the mid-19th century, as the world began warming again.
The current warming is by FAR the fastest on record though, a couple of decades to hundred(s) of years vs thousands of years. And the evidence that it is anthropogenically caused is mounting year after year.
I like beaches from the following area: Flores, Lombok, Cairns, Ko Samui, Belize, Cancun, Da Nang, Phu Quoc, Bali, Redang, Langkawi, Barbados, Costa Rica.
Shopping: Tokyo, Hong Kong, Taipei.
Foods: Vietnam, Thailand, Hong Kong.
