I am finding the need to be able to hook SATA Drives to older Motherboards and Hook Older IDE drives to new SATA boards etc. Also there is the issue of IDE and SATA laptop drives. It would be nice if there was a one solution device that would do all of this but I am probably not going to find one. The USB interface devices are ok to transfer data but I don't think that would work well as a primary drive. I have been looking at Newegg and there are lots of choices there. I will probably end up with two or three different adapters for different applications.
