I did come across some Blueberry Kush a few months ago and that was the first time I asked around to see if anyone had more of it. It was yummy.

I've just started noticing references to CBD, what is that and why would one want/not want a high amount?

I will confirm that, been smoking this strain for a year now and one of the best i have seen in the last 5 years. NL is old school and cant keep up with the newer more potent strains IMO.

Blueberry kush - what was it like? For example, "Headbanger" is really dense, dark green, not a lot of crystals. Mellow organic taste (tastes the way damp leaves smell) but hits very hard. While "Bubble Gum" was sweet, light colored and very tasty (hence the name), and with a very slight, mellow high that doesn't last long

ill describe the green crack high...

instant... maybe a minute or two creep.
pretty heady, in fact, imo, very heady.
lasts about 1-2hrs... then you pass out guaranteed if you are at all tired.
very dense, very sugary, has a limey/greenish smell to it... taste is unbelievable, very limey, almost a sneezing smoke, but still a light cough...

Left is the Grape Ape/GDP, right is the Bubba Kush, bottom is Trainwreck Caramel. All are very tasty. Still my faves at the moment are OG Kush and Banana.

Just remember that strain = potential.

It's up to the grower to fully realize that potential.

Bad strain + good grower = Good

Good strain + bad grower = Bad

Good strain + good grower = Amazing

I'm split between bong and vaporizer. My wife hates the vaporizer's taste (or lack of), so mostly bong. I haven't had a blunt since I had pothead friends. Ha, I don't know how to make them and I don't hang out with my old crew anymore, so I stick to bowl/bong/vaporizer.

Had OG Kush a while ago and, of course this could just be a bad example of the strain, but it was only mildly better than the cheap stuff I get from my "only for emergencies" dealer. I'll give it another try.

Ha! That shit sounds laced. The first time I had Sour Diesel, I was positive it was laced with PCP. Of course, it wasn't.. It was just really, really good weed. Glad I still have some in the freezer

Yeah, I just like the vaporizer because, as an ex-tobacco user, my lungs could use an occasional rest. It felt safer and I don't have that early morning/need to clear throat feeling. But it takes some of the joy out of smoking, the yummy natural aroma is replaced by .. a popcorn taste?

Yeah what I had was medical, so it was definitely the kush. If it doesn't have that piney taste, its not real. Very up, heady stone, very creativity inducing. Extremely unique.

I hope this thread doesn't get locked. I know there are those who are of the opinion that pot is no better than hard drugs, but I find adult discussion about the finer strains to be akin to discussion of fine wines or tobaccos. We're not discussing abuse, we're discussing the pleasure derived from the upper echelon of an awesome, although foolishly controlled, substance.
