Favorite PS One games?

Yes, I know the system is deffinately long in the tooth. But I was at Walmart today, and for $50 I couldn't pass it up. I have a few games in mind to get, which I'll list below. What other ones should I look out for? what were some of your favorites?

- anything SQUARE (I'm an RPG fan, and I cut my gaming teeth on Zelda for the nintendo and Final Fantasy for the PS. What can I say?)

- Cool Boarders (one of the first PS games I played when my little brother bought his first PS, and I still think its fun)

- probably a ton of others I can't think of right now. Help me out

Its a game where you use the gun and shoot at the screen. I like it...its fun!

If you love Square RPG's...trust me on this one. Get Xenogears. It's as good if not better than the Final Fantasy series.

If you're look for a classic RPG...i think it was Konami that came out with a game called Suikoden a lot of years ago. I has an incredible story line and it's a blast to play.

These are the best two RPGs IMO that arent part of the FF series. I highly recommend these games.

I agree 100% with this. Point Blank with two guncons is an incrediable party game when you have a bunch of people around.

FFVI (I know, not really a PS game... still possibly the best RPG, ever, though.)

Return Fire (incredibly fun real-time 2-player tactics... capture the flag with your choice of attack helicopter, tank, armored vehicle, and Humvee... each of the vehicles has its weak and strong points... awesome blaring classical music... if you haven't played it, FIND IT!)

I dont have a PS2, but Im seriously thinking about getting a used PS One (they are 39 used now) just to play the Final Fantasy games.

- The FF-series (I know 4-6 aren't psx games originally but the conversions are good)
- Grandia (just as good as the FF-games in my book, but again originally from another system and the conversion sux, but still it's a fantastic game)
- Dead Or Alive (I like it more than Tekken)
- the Lunar games (great rpgs)
- Breath of Fire 3-4 are good if you like rpgs
- Silent Hill (probably the most scary game I've ever played)
- MegaManX games (I don't know why but for some reason I really like those 2d-platformers, nostalgia maybe)
