What seems to be the most popular MP3 player for Linux? Any recommendations or suggestions?
XMMS Just keeps wanting to load files, not actually play anything so....

if you just installed redhat, you'll need to install xmms again to play mp3's, RH didn't include mp3 support due to liscensing issues.

Unfortunately it was too late for me. I just installed RH8 on my computer last Sunday and found out that XMMS didn't work, because RH have a bug

Its not a bug. Red hat didn't include XMMS because at the time they were releasing it, they weren't sure on licensing issues (IE, would the mp3 format still be free for open source players). So they didn't include it. Its easy to put in though.
