Favorite maps/scenarios for Starcraft and/or BW

I like BGH (sad but true) and 2v2v2v2. Give me chaos over order any day.

BGH is for newbies.
Lost temple is awesome but overplayed.
Polaris prime is by far the best 6 player island map for fairness/island strategy
dire straits is awesome for 4 player 2v2 or simply 1v1 island strategy
aftershock for 3v3 by way better than POS or BGH you can utilize siege strategies on this map
mausoleum (bw only) like lost temple without them annoying ramps to climb up
Rivalry for them longer game 2v2's
REGULAR hunters for 4v4

as for scenarios Lockdown! is awesome. So is Elements.

hmm havnt played starcraft in a while, but I like the maps with fat choke points around my base, then being the Terran and setting the computer oppents to all zerg and playing a little starship trooper with my bunkers. 🙂

Hmm I wonder if I still have that cd somewhere.

Island Hop is current favorite. Then again, I dont really look at a lot of different maps since I dont play very much.

LT & Hunters(bgh also) = most played maps in sc/bw
Discovery was a fun map back in the day
River styx was a good map
POS is a fun map
char magma was fun
for balance, most of the pgl maps were pretty well balanced
