I'm with you on the rest, but 151? A drop of that stuff contaminates a 20oz soda!

the cuervo isn't very good either. at least go with something decent like patron anejo, sauza tres generaciones, or don julio.
 
Vodka, because of the variety and the ease that you can mix them into other drinks...Goldschlager's nice, but it seems more a "cute drink" than anything else, although I agree that it tastes good. Bailey's is great, I'll take some of that any day, on the rocks...but it won't get you drunk if that's what you're looking for. I also love a good rum...and if I'm not paying, some great champange, cognac or brandy is allllllways welcome. 😀

No doubt on the cuervo...but at least I can drink it. With 151 it's just...ugh...

Its gotta be SKYY Vodka shots with sugar coated lemon chasers (Yea, check out previous thread about how I got alot of lemons...)
Second is Cpt. Morgan Private Reserve, now thats great stuff.

:Q I remember those days. I used to buy Jim Beam by the case (6x1.75L) at Costco in school. Now if I have two drinks of that I'm sick for two days...Don't worry you'll get there one day too. It's just a matter of time. The body does'nt repair itself as fast when you get older.🙁
 
Don't make me decide!

I started out with vodka and schnappes.
I've since moved on to rum and whiskey as my primary poisons, and am dabbling in beerology - but not to say I won't enjoy a fine bottle of Grey Goose if it's going around!

It's my birthday this weekend. Expect me to post perhaps once, in a madly drunken stupor. 😀

Yeah, I kind of know what you mean. I go "high-class" now and buy Jim and Bacardi as opposed to the "cheap" stuff. When I was a freshman, though..."What can ten dollars get me?" "I don't know, we'll find out in a little while." "OK."
 
In HS Popov vodka was king. The Korean store owner thought every white dude was 35 and sold us 16 yr olds fiths for only ~$3.50...
 
My taste buds are spoiled.

Vodka -> Stolichnaya for mixing, Belvedere / Grey Goose for Martinis
Rum -> Mount Gay
Liqueur -> Grand Marnier, Chambord
 
Pepermint Schnapps, mainly because one of my friends took a flaming shot of one and ended up burning his entire face, then dripped down to his crotch.

I can slug some peppermint schnapps, and if I'm in a monetary mood, I love Rumpleminze...it tastes great.
