So I read somewhere that Johnny Depp's role as Peter Pan creator J.M. Barrie in the upcoming "Finding Neverland" might land him his first Oscar. I personally appreciate Johnny Depp and what he brings to all the characters he's played in the movies that I've watched him in. My wife loves him and we both enjoy watching his movies. So I'm wondering what movie you guys like that he was in. I really liked him in Chocolat, Once Upon A Time in Mexico, Blow & Pirates of the Caribbean. But if I had to choose one I'd have to go with Pirates of the Caribbean because he was so entertaining. Thanks all for participating.

PS: The movies listed are those that I've seen. If you have more to add, let me know.

PPS: Added Crybaby, 21 Jumpstreet, Benny & Joon, The Astronaut's Wife, Los in La Mancha

Glad to see the regulars participating. Thanks everyone. Seems so far like Pirates of the Caribbean is a crowd favorite.

I wasn't a big fan of that movie. Maybe I didn't like it because I coudn't finish it. I found it very boring at the time. Wonder if I just wasn't in the mood?

Fear, Brasco, and Ed Wood are my favorites of his movies. Most of the others are solid as well.

Pirates. Why? Without him, that movie would have been just another mediocre movie. The way he played his character most likely changed the entire movie. Its one of the most entertaining movies to come out in the past couple of years.
