Favorite instrumentals

"Green Onions" (Booker T and the MGs) just came up on my play list and made me think about if anyone else had any favorite instrumentals.

Others that come to mind:

"Frankenstien" - Edgar Winter Group
"Dueling Banjos" - various
"Take Five" - Dave Brubeck

I know I have others....hmmm....perhaps I should create an "instrumentals" playlist.

'Mountain Jam' is a good one.

Much of the music I listen to has no lyrics. I could list pages of good stuff.

I could list quite a bit too...but most of it would be classical pieces, which, for the most part, have no lyrics.

I'm not much of a classical fan. More into new jazz/funk like Garage A Trois, Medeski Martin & Wood, Galactic, Sector 9, Charlie Hunter, Particle, Robert Walter's 20th Congress, etc.

Holy crap! I have seen MMW, Galactic, Sound Tribe, and Particle

Also add Leo Koetke(sp?), Bela Fleck, and Keller to that list
