With the apparent formulaic horror movie, "Darkness Falls", being released today what are your favorite traditional set ups for horror movies?

Example: Hero A to RedShirt A "Wait here, you'll be safe."
or
RedShirt B walking down into a dark basement.

Not sure about my favorite setup but I always rest assured that any large breasted woman introduced in the first 5 minutes will expose them freely to me before being ever so horribly mutilated.
