Favorite Gargoyles Episode?

I think mine is the one they are now playing, where Gargoyle goesto the future Manhattan. Even though it isn't real, it still is the best episode because of the sadness and the emotions it evokes.

Major nostalgia trip. Definitely a good cartoon, but I don't remember many of the episodes.

at one point a couple years ago, leading up to halloween, they played it 24/7, ALL the episodes in proper order, even Goliath Chronicles!

what happened during series finale?

goliath helps to save xanatos son from lord avalon who's wife (tatanya) is fox's mother. Goliath and Xanatos become friends as Xanatos is finally changed thanks to his son entering his life. i think that's the series finale, but anyways, they had more episodes after that.

the hunter makes more appearances and some other stuff. it's best if you look at the episode guides


oh yea, anton saverius makes some more appearances as well as phalog

i liked the episodes where goliath and xanatos team up.

disappointed it ended though. what happened in the last episode? all i remember is goliath being in avalon. forgot how that concluded.

The series ended with the gargoyles saving a train full of people from dying and a news crew being on the train to record their efforts. They did a broadcast where the reporter acknowledge them not as honorable creatures, but honorable beings. The gargoyles then turned to stone with humans around them as the sun rose, unprotected--the pact was renewed. The gargoyles protected at night and the humans protect them during the day.

I liked the flashback episodes that revealed the story of macbeth...the themes were great too during those episodes.
