whats the diff between adblock and adblock plus? and does flashgot seem like a worse version of downthemall to anyone else?

i dunno, the only filters i use with adblock is filterset g i just install it and its in the extentions window. i never bothered beyond that. wroks well enough

Yes, you can maintain user-defined filters with the FiltersetG extension.


whats synchronize? it says itll automatically synchronize, but itll overwrite all files on start up.eh...

I use Infolister to get my FF info.
All I did was modify the BBcode template save it as anandtech.template and now it outputs it for anandtech.
Added the XPI link so you can download it stright from the list if it is avaliable ;p

BTW, heres the infolister template file for anandtech I made.

Just paste it in your favorite text editor and save as a .template file.
Then tell infolister where it is.

Wow...never knew that you could have so many extensions!

Is there a physical limit to the amount of extensions possible?

That Infolister is really handy for posts like "What extensions do you have?" I used to use Mr Tech's Local Install for that, but its output is only in text, HTML, or standard BBCode, none of which Anandtech uses. Infolister is customizable in that respect.
