I signed up for hotmail as soon as I realized about since ages ago (don't remember when). After a while, I signed up for Yahoo! Mail. Then came Google's GMail, which took everyone by storm, including me.
But I've just realized something: Yahoo! is the best out of all of them for me. It provides pretty tight integration between everything (from mail, to calendar, to backup-able contacts of your mobile phone, and having those contacts availabe in you Address Book). You even have notes that you can access pretty much anywhere (as long as it's not blocked
).
Yahoo! has so many services, ranging from online games (around 240 games, of which the most popular are Pool, Spades, Literati and Chess), a calendar (to keep track of your things), a Encylopedia (I just found out about this myself), an amazing finance page (which includes a nice currency convertor). The list goes on...
These guys own Geocities, and Flickr, which are two amazing products. But their latest acquisition, the Yahoo! Widget Engine (aka. Konfabulator) has widgets that will tell you what's going on with your account (how many mails you have, and what is on your Yahoo! day planner) right on your desktop. And all this for free as well.
Basically, I just wanted to announce, that I am in the process of migrating to Yahoo! from Hotmail (I'll stay with my GMail account for a while, though) and you would have to give me a good reason not to.
