actually I stole that...we were in a bar one night talking about old rock (cover band was playing a lot of good old songs)....

We got on to the Eagles and Joe Mullet comes over as we are talking about the best Eagle's song. Puts his hands in the air with the devil horn's/I love you sign dropping his beer and goes "FRRRRREEEEEEEBIIIIIRRRRDDDD DUDDDDDEEEE!!!!!!!!" Then he added something like "thats ok dem eagles are wurth a beer"

Funny thing is, It took me atleast 5 years to get my wife to know the difference between Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin....that's why the LS/Eagles thing was so funny to me......

'Take it Easy' is probably my personal favorite since it's more upbeat and fun to play/sing solo. 'Seven Bridges Road' is another good one.

For somebody just learning how to play guitar (or someone who sucks horribly and can only play a handful of chords like me) the Eagles are great since all their songs are REAL similar.
