Favorite Computer Related Forums

I'm curious what forums the rest of you guys frequent. I'm always looking for new computer forums to check out and i prefer ones that have a heavy user base.

Some of the hardware forums i frequent are:

HardForum
Anandtech Forums
OCForums
XtremeSystems
DFI Street Forums

Pretty much the same list as you -DFI, and the latter two I only visit from time to time. I only post on AT and HardForum.
HardForum
Anandtech Forums
OCForums
XtremeSystems

I used to post on HardForum all the time and see Phoenix86 hanging out there too but it's been ages since I've bothered going there. The constant crashes and downtime for weeks on end disgusted me.

Yea there for a while it seemed like the forums went down every week but here the last few months it hasn't really been a problem any more.

I went and checked out the Tomshardware forums a little while ago just to see what was going on there and they've still got the crappy looking old forum they've always had lol. I would think as large as their user base is that they would update it to something a little better but i guess not.

This one (mostly for ATOT, FS/FT, and Hot Deals - better tech forums out there)
Ars Technica (Decent tech site - different FS/FT crowd than AT or HardForum gets)
HardForum (2000+ posts)
Futuremark.com (Mostly for benchmarking tweaking - 1000+ posts)
XtremeSystems (Good site for vMod info)
OCForum (best for tech stuff by a LONG shot)
Rage3d (back when I had ATI cards - good support for them there. 2000+ posts)

And I peck and mostly lurk at:
3dss.com (3dSoundSurge - decent place for PC audio stuff)
HydrogenAudio (even better place for PC audio, encoding, soundcard, speakers, etc info - home of Foobar support forums)
nVNews (even though I've used nVidia cards for years, just don't need much support on them)
Guru3d (home of RivaTuner and lots of good nVidia mods...but mostly l33t n00bs, so it's not a great place to hang)

I look at coolermaster's forum and a couple others occasionally. A few case-modding forums. A couple chicken raising forums, too. I built/maintain a couple forums, too. I just never look at them. A few other folks moderate them.

I usually just stay here for my computer / tech needs.

I dabble very little in msfn.org forums, but i use their forums for information it contains in unattended OS installs and Silent installs of Apps.

Whats your guys favorite case modding sites/forums? Are there any good forums that have pics of users that have Lian Li cases? HardForum is one of the few that i know about that has a quality Case Mod Gallery. I'm looking for ideas on things to install in my new Lian Li V1000B.

Good full-size case mod gallery, there.

Gamespot's forums have a case-mod gallery, too.

IIRC., OCForums do, and XtremeSystems do.

Even Sudhian forum has a mod gallery - focusing on SFF systems, of course.

 It's been a while since the crashes, things are running better now (knocks on wood).

That's what got me started posting here, though I mainly troll around in OT. I only poke my head into OS/HW/(insert geek subforum) every now and then...

Exact same scenario for me too. I usually stick around OT because frankly looking at tech specs and the same questions over and over can get dull sometimes. 🙂
