Mario 3, just for that battle zone type area between Mario and Luigi. That was awesome, I used to play it each day against my friend before school.

Galaga was the bomb. So was Contra and Kid Nikki and too many others to name... ;)

Bagman was a great Arcade game :D

Although I remember when Dragon's Lair came out. It was REALLY cool, although it was mostly just a choose your own adventure movie.

Classic Video Game
Arcade Early - Missle Command or Star Castle.
Arcade Later - Galaga or R-Type.
Arcade Even Later - Mortal Kombat.
NES would be Desert Commander.
Atari would be Asteroids.

hmmm, nobody ever mentions dragon quest/warrior 1, but it's gotta be high up there with all the other classics mentioned above.

Best Game Ever: Asteroids

Arcade: Actually, I prefer pinball, but the original vector-graphic Star Wars, circa 1983(?) RULED.

Atari 2600: Asteroids

NES: Tecmo Super Bowl circa 1991. Best sports game ever. One of those rare games that uses witchcraft instead of AI.

Intellivison's Lock-N-Chase. I played this game soooo much. A friend and I were always competing against each other for high score and would call each other any time of day or night to rub our latest record score in the other's face.
