Homemade

or if you have to buy it.....Selmon Brothers Hot BBQ Sauce. They also make it in sweet, mild, and medium. Too bad you poor bastards outside of Oklahoma probably can't get it.

You might be able to write or call them and get some.

Selmon Brothers Foods Inc,
2340 Industrial BIvd., Norman, OK 73069-8518
Phone: (405)364-9691, Fax: (405)329-5369
Dewey Selmon, President

And if you don't know who the Selmon brothers are you need your ass kicked.

mmmm, also I like Denny's BBQ Sauce, Carrows, and The Elephant Bar's BBQ sauce (don't know how widespread they are, but good food)

I find KC Masterpiece to be surprisingly watery. Unfit for baking altogether.

I would expect that from a yankee....

It's really good. If they had those in the larger packaging I'd purchase it.

I actually offered to purchase a whole tray of the sauce but they wouldn't sell it to me 🙁

You have obviously never had REAL BBQ sauce.

actually i had many different bbq sauce, but always the ghetto versions of any item taste better.

Like pizza in Jersey City taste better than Pizza in lets say in a nicer neighborhood

KC Masterpiece Original, Dressed up with secret ingredients. (Sorry, cannot disclose them, family secret.)

~wnied~

Kraft Think N' Spicy Original
Taco Bell/KFC Honey BBQ (I'm addicted to that stuff)
BK BBQ
Mc Donald's BBQ is by far the best for chicken IMO...

Open Pit ORIGINAL!!! Original is mmmmmm.... It's spicey instead of that nasty ass "honey roasted" taste that many BBQ sauces try to shove down our throats.

There's a BBQ stand that comes to town once a year. It is the cullinary highlight of the year for me. His sauce is so good, I quit smoking meat on my own. None of the packaged sauces come close, and I can't find a recipe that is adequate. I know what I want, I just can't figure out how to get there. <waiting for July>

Famous Daves Sweet & Zesty is quite yummy. It really depends on what I'm doing though. Some kinds work better on pork, others work better on chicken, and some others work better for beef.
