(I've worked about 10+ hours today framing a house so getting home and listening to music made me think about my favorite band, and I wanted to see who all of you see as your favorites.

-Radiohead-

Ever since I first heard them in Pyramid Song I feel in love. It is just so relaxing and reserved and yet invokes such passion in every song...a musical oddity really. They jump in and out of many genres, use various intruments, and yet still sound the same, still sound 'great' in every piece they play.

I just watched back the Led Zeppelin DVD again. I was born 20 years too late! Wish I can watch them live.

If you guys can get access to Japan's Luna Sea, you should give their songs a try. I don't know a single word in Japanese but their songs are crazy good.

Well it's really the Beatles, but that's so common I'll mention the Byrds too.

and the Who.

So was I, but that's not stopping me from worshipping them :p I actually saw an Orchestra with a band that did all Zeppelin songs for a few nights... and it wasn't shabby at all. The drummer actually pulled off moby dick, and the guitarist was insane too. If you search on google video for "Let the led out" you might find something. they play now and then, and it's the closest thing to the real them. if you're lucky, maybe you'll catch jimmy page on a tour. I know David Gilmour is gonna be at Radio City Music Hall Apr 4-5, which I have tickets for. But I think it's sold out... :(

I just want to see Jimmy Page tears it up with a solo, and then have Robert Plant shakes his Tambourine to try to steal Page's spotlight.

Hmmm..I can see where people are coming from with Zepplin and Floyd. I'll have to go with (in no specific order) Allman Brothers, Shadows fall, Mudvayne, Amon Amarth, Offspring, Randy Rhodes, Hendrix, Clapton, the Doors. I think that covers everything

Metallica. I remember sitting in the back seat of the car and hearing this really cool song come on. I had absolutely no clue what the lyrics were, but I loved it. Years later I found out it was called Enter Sandman, and I was hooked.
