It seems I have a plethora of Apple, Windows, gadget sites I either visit daily or have RSS feeds of or follow on twitter but I'm not finding any GREAT Android sites, so far.

Back a few years ago when I had my Moto Droid 1 I'd spend a lot of time at Droidforums.net but that's very phone focused and my interest are specific to my device mostly, which is a Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus.

Any good all around Android sites for just the latest and greatest news? Like a Engadget, Gizmodo, Anandtech, MacRumors of all things Android?

Seconded.

This is where most Android info is going to originate. You won't find a more populated forum, and this is the de-facto place for developers to hang out.

Rootzwiki is good too, but it's new, and as such doesn't have as many users.

Quite a lot have left the place and its gone a bit trolltastic now, but everything does still wash up there eventually.

Where have they moved to if they left XDA? D:

That's the first I'm hearing of it.

Sort of scattered really. A lot have their own websites like oxygen.im or post at sites like rootz.

Its not a massive problem as all things eventually end up at XDA sooner or later.

XDA if you are looking for all things regarding root, roms, etc. By far the most technical and in-depth info.

Just be prepared to "read ALL" threads first before posting a question as they get their undies in a bunch and would rather trash a new user's question than try and help (in most cases).

I used to go threre all the time, but the constant thread crapping by the "older" members is tiresome.

We all are new at one time and telling someone to google or search for an answer takes about as long as it would to point them to the correct location for an answer or just give them a quick answer.

Yeah it a pain over there sometimes, especially as some of the threads are 100s of pages long and if you miss one post on page 247 your going to get flamed by someone for it.
