Favicons search/update software?

For those IE4+ users out there, has anyone come across a program that searches and updates favicon.ico files for your frequently-visited web sites? I'm up to 36 (borrowed a few from Win98 and Distributed.net, hehe) but wouldn't mind a few more.

Any suggestions? How about a *good* ICO editor. IrfanView had some trouble converting GIFs to ICOs.
