It used to Law & Order back in the old days before the 14 other variations of the show came out and dilluted the name's quality. I still like the old reruns on A&E and other channels though.

I currently like CSI Miami the most. I like the regular CSI too, but just like the Miami one more for some reason.

In the UK on terrestrial we only get Law and Order and SVU, and only series 1 or SVU Sooo far behind.
Series 2 of The Shield
Not sure about the others.

the reality crap (Judge Judy, People's Court)

Cop shows:

NYPD Blue
The Shield
'Homicide' (and derivatives?)
The Wire
Boomtown (I say its more of a cop show than a law show)
