Fav. Folder- Reshuffled HELP URGENT!

I have around 150 fav's all in order that they are added.... But accidently I pressed sumthing and now all of them are listed by alphabets (A 1st - Z last)....

I want my old order back, in which I have stored my favs.

PS: Win7 with IE 10 and pc not restarted yet.

If you re-order them in IE, I'm not sure how to get the order back automatically. You couldn't, in older IEs, but I won't say 100% for 10. But, you can do it manually.

Go to favorites, right-click, sort by -> more..., check "Date created", hit OK, and then sort by date created.

Now, you can get that and IE's list side by side, and match the order by dragging and dropping.

Nope, such option is not there in IE10

I just moved Windows Live Gallery to a position below Windows Live Mail, quit IE, and restarted it. It was still in the new position after a restart of the browser.

I had taken a Full-backup in July along with fav. order reg file, thankfully I was able to restore all my favs till july and rest arranged manually... 🙂

Next step: find a way to export them in order for another browser to use, and stop using IE, except for web apps that need it. You have to go out of your way to reorder bookmarks in most other browsers, and that's actually a good usability decision, for exactly this reason.
