And then they wasted 3 more hours arresting the people at the club for which they won't get a single conviction.

And next on Headline news, atlanta police tested with average IQ of 80.

Amanda Jones, 29, of Cumming, who police said performed sex on stage, was charged with public indecency.

Umm how can you be charged with "Public Indecency" at a Private establishment?

Police said it took more than three hours to arrest and put the 45 females and 70 males in jail Saturday night and early Sunday morning. All were charged with disorderly conduct.

So the police is charging everybody who was there with disorderly conduct? for what?

Edit - Read the rest of the article and sounds like they had a good time there. :D But I see why they were arrested.

Public indecency would apply in any public establishment, even an illegal club.

The disorderly conduct is a charge they use when they don't have real charges. It's completely bogus, they wasted a bunch of taxpayer money and a ton of peoples time arresting all those spectators. Good lord, you can't arrest people because the business was illegal, it's not their responsibility to know if the club was a legal establishment.

The only real problem with it is that they let a 16 year old in. Other than that I say let people do what they want.

So what exactly is the difference between a public and private establishments? Membership?
