Can change image host if necessary

Description:
atikmdag stopped responding, screen goes black and have to reboot, sometimes goes B&W and recovers, and vpu recovering. Or the major problem it stays B&W with major screen tearing and needs a reboot. If i shutdown the game windows works fine but videos/other games are B&W or tearing.

System works:
Idling at desktop/surfing/watching movies i have no problems at all.
System works perfectly fine with RAM stick 1 and no problems what so ever.
Also works fine with 2x1 GB sticks in dual channel. (at volt 2,0 spec on these)

When the problem occurs:
Problems happens in games.
Using 2x2 GB in slot 1/3 or 2/4 also when swapping places.
Also using RAM stick 2 i get the problems, more frequent in COD4.

Tried these steps:
RAM voltage at 2,14 and 2,21 volt.
Also tried a Memtest86 but it gets stuck after Loading and sits there.
Boot order is CD <-> HD.
But i also got P4-HL-DT-ST DVD as a choice no idea what it is though google gave me one hit in german.

Also tried my 2x2 GB sticks in a different computer but with XP Pro.
dual channel no problem, one by one no problem.

Software:
Video card ati 4870
tried 8.7, hotfix and the drivers on the CD.
OS: Vista 64 SP1 all updates
Antivirus: NOD32 2.7
Firewall: COMODO Firewall Pro
All programs: http://geting.se/viewimage.php...-programsinstalled.jpg

Hardware:
OS: Vista 64 bit latest drivers

Standard cooler on CPU
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS3P
RAM: Corsair TWIN2X4096-8500C5DF Dominator 2x2048MB (tot. 4096MB)

Case + fan speed: Antec P182, 3 fans medium setting
DVD: LG Electronics GH20NS10RBB DVD±RW Dual-Layer 20X BLACK Bulk SATA

Temperature:
Video card: idle ~50, load ~60-65 fanspeed 35%

Could you be more specific?

The RAM or any other part?

Could also be that I'm not using the correct program to measure the temps :).

the system BIOS shows temps and a good program to use it PC Wizard from CPUID.
I think the internal temps spiked at some point and may have damaged components, would need to test them oindividually outside of the current system.
