Hey guys,
A lot of you have seen this being posted all over the net, so I will give you the REAL heads up so no rumors start.
Iwill will announce soon that they did, indeed, release a batch of faulty motherboards. The problem is that when you change your multiplier from anything but 'AUTO' you get a multiplier of 8.5. This is related to a chip on the board that will be specified tonight. It is a very specific chip and only a few of the actual amount of rev 1.2's have them. To fix this Iwill will send you an advanced replacement of a working 1.2. To get in contact with them e-mail at rma@iwillusa.com or 949-753-5488 ext. 105 an RMA.
Tonight Iwill will release a small news blurb about this explaining the issue exactly and how they will go about resolving it. From what I gather Iwill is definitely taking it on the nose on this one, and are being pretty cool about replacing the bad motherboards that got out. So don't you worry, in a couple weeks you too will have a KK266 in all its glory!
