Prominent US public health adviser Dr Anthony Fauci appeared on Sunday to confirm a bombshell New York Times report which said he and other Trump administration officials recommended the implementation of social distancing to combat the coronavirus in February, but were rebuffed for almost a month.

Asked on CNN’s State of the Union why the administration did not act when he and other officials advised, Fauci said: “You know … as I have said many times, we look at it from a pure health standpoint. We make a recommendation. Often, the recommendation is taken. Sometimes, it’s not.

Anybody with half a mind knows Trump doesn`t give a rats ass!!What I find interesting is Trump finally sent his condolences towards those who have died! Yet listening to him say words like that he didn`t sound very convincing at all!1
As if somebody told him you better say such and such or this could really ruin your chances at being re-elected!!

That horrible night of 11-9-2016 all I could think is what if we had another 9/11 or Katrina with the Dotard in charge. And fuck me we're going to have a 9/11 every day for the next few months instead when this crooked fuck opens the country back up.
 
Fauci strikes me as being anti - Trump but not blatantly anti Trump! But with that said -- Trump will ask people who are NOT medically trained what they think of Fauci and Fauci will be canned!!

China is responsible for the initial spread and lack of transparency. There was time with the proper concern to mitigate the spread here. I keep referring to other countries. Need I remind you South Korea completely obliterated us in testing. Also want to remind you we had a medical export stationed in China that Trump pulled months prior. I'm sure they could have been useful

Too much evidence out there Trump did nothing for over 70 days and allowed this thing to spread in the US.

With an exponential spread thousands of lives could have been saved.

As far as Chins we should not resume flights until those damned wet markets are either shutdown or all exotic animals are moved. WHO must be allowed regular surprise inspections and they must be embedded in China. If they fly in markets would be notified in advance.
 
If Trump's deadly mismanaging of this nation-wide crisis doesn't negatively affect his chances of getting reelected in a significant kind of way I don't know what else will.

Stats-wise, I wonder how many Trump supporter's lives and those of their kin have been as tragic as those untold thousands of others who have suffered or passed on and would they actually finally hold Trump accountable this time?
