faucet weirdness

All my faucets in the house have been acting VERY strange - all at once. They used to shoot straight solid and consistent streams. Now ALL of them are shooting out weird. The showerhead shoots out only through certain holes. The bathroom sink shoots out at an angle. The kitchen sink faucet has a delayed reaction (on and off) and has an inconsistent stream.

What causes this? Water pressure? How do I check for something like this ?

Any quick / household fixes ? I'd hate to have to call a plumber $$$$. I'm reading lime buildup is caused by "hard water" ... but I think the town water supply is fine... haven't heard anything about that.

does it come out with as much pressure as it used to? I had an airrater?? go out and that what pumnps the air into the water stream to give you your pressure

sediment or general icky stuff build up inside. you gotta take off the aerator things off the ends of your faucets. its either a wire or plastic grill. unscrews. behind it is muck or little rocks or whatever.

same with your showerhead. showerheads are pretty easy to take off, just screw the thing. might as well get a new nicer one while your at it🙂

Seems like you're asking me to fix these individually and at each faucet. It sounds like a bigger (more centralized) problem since it all happened at once. No? Too much of a coincidence.

The pressure is just about the same as before this problem, actually.

maybe more sediment came in though/off the pipes recently and pushed your stuff over the edge. if the pressure is the same, it can't be centralized.

not rocket science, just a pain in the ass.
