duh, michael moore is a retard.

I must give an AMEN.

This is the only statement on ATOT that has more than an ounce of truth....

Not to mention that most of the people you see at the DNC every year are at least on averag 30 lbs heavier than at the RNC...not that I care about either party (I just hate democrats a little more so I take every cheap shot I can at them).

EDIT: i gave it some thought, and realized that "hidden valley" could be another name for an anus.....i really dont want anus ranch...but it is pretty good.

Skinnies are dumb because they call people fatties. Get over yourselves. I am by no means massive (6' 2" 280 proportioned) and I am pretty smart.

My cholesterol is normal, blood pressure is perfect and I am as fit as a fiddle. I could lose 60lb, but I guess I choose not to. It has nothing to do with intelligence.

Immaturity breeds stupidity like this.

Correlation is not causation.

Perhaps fatties spend more time eating and thinking about food, that other people would use to broaden their minds.

But yeah, all that fat is also probably bad for your brain. 😛

1. Genetic = hard to control or unavoidable

So these mutants consume as many calories in the same way and burn as many in the same way as thin people but stay large?

Of course, that's the answer! That must be the only explanation for their horrible Condition, their terrible Ailment, the poor hand which their Genes have dealt them.

I knew a guy on my track team in high school hat wanted to gain weight and couldn't. I used to go to the weight room all the time, so I was bulking up, but he couldn't seem to add weight even though he tried.

I think everyone knows at least 1 person like this--the skinny guy/girl that eats an entire Family-size bag of Doritos, eats junk food, drinks soda, etc...watches tv/sits on butt all day and never seems to gain any weight.

Those people suck.

Don't take this the wrong way, but 280# is indeed "massive". It doesn't necessarily mean you're out of shape...football players can get up to that and still run up and down the field for hours...but two hundred and eighty pounds will always be massive, in quite a literal sense.

I fail to see the purpose of your other comments. In the OP, a study was posted that noted a (presumably weak) inverse relation between intelligence and weight. Attack their methodology if you will, but attributing their results to "immaturity" is pointless.

French Scientists Link Higher BMI with Lower IQ

studies have shown physical activity does make for better mental fitness..atleast in rats lol🙂

"French scientists have linked obesity to lower IQ reports the Telegraph. In a new five-year study of more than 2,200 adults, people with a low body mass index (BMI) could recall 30% more words in a vocabulary test than those who were obese. The fatter subjects also showed a higher rate of cognitive decline when they were retested five years later. In the United States, 30% of the population is obese according to OECD. That's the highest rate of obesity anywhere. Do these high obesity rates affect the average IQ of the population?"

And maybe you're wrong in that absolute assessment............I was thin in high school, back in 1970-72, and have gained all of 15 pounds over the intervening 33 years. Now, at 51, I still am thin, weigh around 145#, 30" waist, and eat anything and everything I want with no regards to weight gain. Never was able to pack on the pounds, never will be able to.

Let?s guess people's weight by their comments on ATOT.

JL Gatzby: I would say around 360 lb.
Waggy: Cool guy, around 75 lb.
Moshquerade: Always to the point, about 98 lb
Syringer: some time is smart, sometime he is not, must be on a yoyo diet.

you are WAY too nice to JLGatsby. that fetal-alcohol-syndrome elephant needs at least 4 digits to contain his weight.

well how many calories do you eat per day/week. i know i sometimes seem to eat a lot but its because the rest of the time i don't eat much at all. and so it all evens out to not over eating really. people don't really keep track consciously over a long time so it seems like they are getting away with pigging out when they arent.
