June 16th. Anyone thinking about this yet? My mom's always an easy target - I know what she likes, what she wants, and sometimes come up with off the wall things that she loves but never thought of. My dad's a lot harder.

The traditional gift is a tie, a six pack and a pack of smokes. Fathers are held in high esteem in this culture.

Not old enough to buy him the six pack and he doesn't smoke. I'm sure your father will love the gifts though. :)

I can't imagine ever not cherishing something my daughter makes with her own hands... even if it's just a card... My kids are soooooo cute :)

Dare I ask why? Your father not around, or do you just not need to bother?

He's not around, hasn't been around for a while. I think my little sisters are the only ones who bother with it now. My mom tries to get us to do it for the principle. Whats up with this? You have an away on aim and yet you're posting on anandtech? :)

Study break. If I get a conversation going, it's harder to pull away from it and go back to studying than it is to simply disappear off the forums. Nearly all my teachers moved finals to this coming week, yay!
