anyone has any ideas? it was simple with my mom- just sent an expensive bouquet of flowers, and that sh1t definitely won't fly with my dad. any suggestions?

price problem: just keep in mind that i am an intern with relatively little cash at any given moment

I'm thinking of getting my Dad a 5.1 speaker setup for his home theatre, if I can find one cheap enough for me to afford.

Flowers scream of a lack of creativity. I got my mother a really nice apron....

Going to get the old man insurance so he can ride my bike.

maybe a GC to broders or something like that and then take him out to breakfast?
FIL, not so sure... a heart felt card and a nice frame of his son (husband) and I.

LCD.

Well, his b-day is in less than a month, so it's for both, but it's going to be leagues better than his blurry ass 15" sony that can do 800x600 @ 75 hz. :thumbsudown;

my dad is getting a new tacklebox (soft kind with the individual plastic boxes inside) and maybe some other fishing stuff - He's been bitching and moaning about his old box for years, and has specifically said he wants one like mine. I love it when stuff is that easy :)

Getting him a portable dvd player. He keeps bringing up how all the flights that he takes for business are boring so I thought i'd fix that.

I got my dad a new sandblasting hood, because I was tired of using his old one as it was falling apart while working on my project car...

Nothing says, "I love you dad." like a wet/dry vac. My problem is that I haven't seen my dad since he change mail routes. I think he's servicing the other side of town these days. :(

I have no clue. My dad has got pretty much everything he could need already. He's also working on-site in Vegas for a while living in a little apartment.

Me, I'd take a nice Dell 2005FPW but I know it ain't gonna happen. :D

erm, never celebrated father's day,
so nothing at all.
sides, he woulda bought the stuff that he wanted with his own capabilities rather then wait until I accumulate enough allowance to churn something out.

Maybe just a card? Haven't really spoken to him much since my parents split about 7 years ago. Just random 'how you doing' crap.....

He's kinda pissed that I dont wanna include his slutty gf / wife or whatever she is. I think he got married but he hasn't told me anything about it.

Oh ya, she was the reason my parents split..... haha, just a little bitter about that and how he went about it. Oh well, I've moved on :)
