or do you just take him out to a meal and some kinda activity? In the past, Id take my pops to a meal, and just chill at his place till around supper time.

No. But I'm going to a wedding and he'll be there too.

no. but i'm going to the same wedding and your dad will be there too!

my dad is in florida. i'm in new york. it's hard to see him from up here.

no.

I think my dad is working tomorrow anyways... I'll stop by the house and drop off a gift/card so I don't get yelled at by my mom, then I'll go on with my life.

Dad and I are in constant disagreement with my wife (she's not asian), so it hasn't been all roses in the past 3 years. I doubt there'll be any communication between us tomorrow (today).

Don't even call him usually.

Him and my Mom are in another state right now so I won't be seeing him for sure.

I wish I could 🙁

My Dad passed away 10 yrs ago....

yeh, mine 3 years ago.

now those that have their Dads go spend some time with him. gravestones are pretty boring let me tell ya.

I wish I could, but my parents live 1200 Miles away. I will be home next week though to make up for Mother's Day, Father's Day, and both of their B-Day's, so it should be nice.

Nah, he has to work. We spent some time last week. I'll be driving 6 hours (round trip) to see my grandfather this afternoon - he's 84 and may not have too many more FD's. He's not expecting me, so it will be a surprise.
