The father of a high school student cut from a varsity basketball team is suing the school.
Lynn Rubin says he filed suit against Logan High School in Union City because his son Jawaan was asked to try out for the varsity squad, but was later sent back to junior varsity.
When Rubin asked the coach about the situation, Jawaan was dropped from the J.V. team.
The father also wants the coach fired. He says the family had to alter their schedule to accommodate varsity practices.
The law suit is for $1.5 million. btw this is the school i go to :disgust:
