This is the third time this year that a local parent has been accused of killing his or her children. In January David Crespi, a bank executive, allegedly stabbed his 5-year-old twin daughters to death. Also that month Lisa Greene set fire to her home, killing her son and daughter, Cabarrus County police said.

While these may be unrelated , the fact that there is a cluster of bizarre behavior should not be casually dismissed.
