trains closed at manchester victoria (nearest to concert too). my facebooks going nuts now (friends there) :(

pictures of blood on people on twitter. oddly proud of our reaction through. twitters full of people offering a place to meet/crash/rest via their house. local hotels taken kids in to help parents find them. good going Manchester!

"Manchester hospitals have just declared a major incident, please don't go to A&E tonight if it's not an emergency."

Sadly, counting down the seconds until one of our resident xenophobes tries to pretend this is the collective fault of 1.7 billion people (to some extent, one already has) instead of waiting for real answers and accepting the likely complexity of the situation.
