FAT32 mandatory?

After reading the replies in this thread, it appears that if you plan on dual booting 98se (for games that don't work with 2k) and Win2k, you MUST use FAT32. Is there a way to use NTFS with 98se (doubt that there is), or do I have to stick to FAT32?
