i have ntfs and i have a fat32 file system with hard drive i need data from. I plugged it in, and thats why it doesnt work. can i convert it?

Which drive has NTFS and which drive has fat32?? If your main drive has NTFS, and you are trying to get data from a FAT32 hard drive, it should be able to see it fine. What OS are you using? If you are running something like win98 on fat32, then it won't be able to see an NTFS drive. Where did you hook up the second hard drive to? Does BIOS see the drive, windows see the drive?? Need more info, you wern't very clear...

ok. my NTFS drive has xp sp2 on it and is hooked up as master. my secondary is hooked up to grey slot on same ide cable with jumpers set to slave. THAT hard drive is using windows me. bios sees both. windows sees it in the device manager and disk manager but i cant put it on my computer.
