The guys publishing Trine said it would be out by the end of July. Thursday is the last PSN release day of July, which would indicate it will be out Thursday.
 
I'm holding out for Trine to make it to XBLA but I should probably just get it from the PSN store.

It'll come with 5 campaigns I believe. I played the beta a bit, and the game is pretty awesome, very fleshed out for a PSN title. I think $15 is a steal. I would expect a demo, but since Sony doesn't require them, I guess it's not a given (ex. Trine won't have a demo).

Trine has a demo on the PC, if anyone really wants to try it before it comes out on PSN.

Actually, I asked Frozenbyte about one and a half weeks ago when we could expect to see Trine and they said by the end of July for Europe and maybe (their word) by the end of August for the US. But then just last Thursday on the EU Playstation Blog a Sony employee said not to expect Trine this week in the European store. He didn't say why, but I'm guessing that the release of Fat Princess is why. So right now it looks like no Trine for anyone on PSN this week.

man this game is kinda weak. everyone seems to be running around like a headless chicken and throwing bombs randomly. If i use warrior it is very hard to pin anyone down let along kill them. and it gets repetitive quickly...
 
My internet was down all day so I could only do single player. The game is pretty fun, but I still don't get how to build siege weapons. The only problem I've noticed is that it stutters a bit, even though I wasn't even online.
 
mediocre night, found out that the computers were basically intellectual challenged as they mass suicide into the lava. but I did got to become a grim reaper at the end of a game (we won). and majorly raped the everyone on the other team.
 
Sony acknowledges online issues with Fat Princess

Earlier today, TheFeed readers confirmed other reports I'd been reading around this here Internet that Fat Princess is having notable launch issues in the latency department. Many are experiencing lag while trying to play online, an issue Sony acknowledged to me this afternoon. Sony confirmed all parties involved are working on making this a non-issue soon, but did not disclose specifics.

"We are aware that some customers are experiencing connection issues and are working to address this asap," said a company spokesperson to me over e-mail. "If there are lag issues during a game, there will be a snail image in the lower left corner. It is advised that if this snail appears for more than 30 seconds, the player should try another game."

Let me know if Fat Princess' problems clear up over the weekend.

can you "return" PSN store games? I want my $15 back. This game sounds cool and looks cool but it appears that everyone just does their own thing and battles are just a huge fucking mess where you can't see your character. Even if you manage to make it to the enemy base, you die immediately because thats where EVERYONE respawns and respawning is constant with the mess that the battles become.

No, I don't believe you can.

EDIT: The problems you listed are the reason I don't buy online-multiplayer-only games on the consoles.
 
if they fix the lag, maybe if we can get an AT group like there is for Team Fortress, it would be more enjoyable
