seems havin a few probs with my gt doin 400/1.1 its a leadtek.

works fine in everything except 3dmark tho....maybe jus 3d mark is buggerd

i used to have ati an turning fast writes off increased my oc stability with my 9500pro, but is it necessary for nvidia cards?

also whats the diff between FW and SBA?

so if fast writes is meant to increase performance why does turning it off (on ATI at least) warrent no performance loss?

also i heard u have to go down to agp 4x to turn off fast writes on 6800gt?

It's useless crap that causes stability issues and hinders OC potential.

Cause the AGP bus is already fast enough.

Then stop overclocking.

Because you're not testing the right situations.

Fast writes, does cause system instability in overclocking situations..I turn it off.

Fast writes is SUPPOSED to help. However it rarely ever works like it is supposed to. So if you turn it on and everything is swell just leave it. Who knows you might see a performane increase if your one of the rare few that gets it working properly. Start having problems just turn it off. No biggie.
