I'm think I just fried my Ultra66->FastTrak66 card 🙁 After a format, I installed the wrong drivers for the FastTrak and I headed on over to Promise's site to download the latest one, along with a BIOS update becasue the one I had was probably pretty old. So I installed the drivers, restarted, and flashed the FastTrak BIOS. All seemly went well and I restarted. Now, my machine hangs on the "Scanning for IDE Decices" Disconnecting all my HD (IBM 75GXP), the machine will give me this helpful message "@Y" (the 'Y' is really a greek one...). Hitting keys just makes the thing beep. The boot drives are connected to FastTrak..and I dont keep very good backups (duh!!!)...
Any suggestions...or is this a good excuse for getting a FastTrak100??
