Question Fastest USB C cable to charge Note 9/10

To plug into the back of my Aorus B450 Pro Wifi MB, Will a 100W Anker USB C - USB C Gen 2 cable be any faster to charge my Note 9 (or if I upgrade to note 10) than a 60W / other USB C Cable?

Extremely unlikely. I don't see anything in the manual specifying what kind of power output that port can do, but it's essentially guaranteed that it won't do any of the variety of quick charging standards. Quick Google suggests the Note 9 supports both QC 2.0 and USB PD. Not to mention the phone itself won't do anywhere near 60W much less 100W.

Get yourself a USB PD charger and don't charge stuff off your PC. A PC is never the right answer these days:

Note 10+ apparently supports 45W USB PD. I would grab something like this:

Viper GTS

Yea, i'm def sticking to a dedicated charger, just wondering what people use the USB C ports on the backs of their MBs for?

On a gigabyte B450 board, any way to keep that USB C port on high power even after shut down to charge my phone?

I'm going to assume that's a serious question, but I am deeply conflicted on whether or not you're screwing with me.

Data, of course. USB 3.1 Gen 2 is capable of 10Gb/s which means seriously fast external storage, external GPUs (on TB3), etc. The USB C port in all its forms is the fastest way to get data in and out of PCs that don't belong in a datacenter.

Example (900 MB/s SSD):

Viper GTS

Yep i realized that the Note 9 supports only up to 25W of charging. I'm currently using the Google 15W PD charger and can get up to 2770mA (Ampere) I wonder if a 25W/30 charger will get me higher?

I also just picked up this ridiculously cheap cable: https://www.amazon.com/USB-C-Cable-...07MW1ZWP6/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8
$12.99 for: support up to 100W, USB 3.1 Gen 2, Data transfer up to 10Gbit/sec, 6.6 ft long, 4k video output
I wonder whats the catch? An anker cable with similar specs would be $30+ or dunno if they even have something like this.
