Holy cow, so I just signed up for some private torrent site. I thought getting 200kb was good, I just DLed Nip Tuck s4 e3, at 832kbs 🙂

wow looks like this is gonna be the avg speed for this private torrent network.

The Unit s2 e1 - 600kb and still climbing. HOLY $HIT!
 
somewhere above a MEGAHERTZ per second when my new NIC rerouted me into friendster for faster download speeds.

You should probably invest in the new KillerNIC card like I did. It reduced the lag in my satellite connection.

It's worth the cash

man...i've never lived in a dorm during my entire time at college (well i still am in)...I've always had dsl or cable. This is the first time i've seen any d/l go this fast. I mean i've seen like 10mbs+ or something, but that's only coz we're on the same network and that's only when I transfer stuff to my roommates.

Umm easily hit 800 anyday... 812 probably I've hit.... My connection goes roughly to that speeds with Comcast 6mbit. Now I just did a DSLReports on my lab computer... lol 9.36 MB/sec download.... eh?
 
There are legal torrents guys. Ubuntu and Openoffice can be downloaded that way. That is how I usually download them because it goes much faster than it does when you download from their servers.
